Duties: Do pre trip on truck by checking engine oil, tire pressure, fuel and def tank. Radio dispatch that I am ready to be loaded with cement. After I am loaded, I drive and park truck at slump post. This is where I get the cement at the level the customer specifies by adding water, fiber and or calcium. Once the slumping is correct, I drive to work destination and unload it in a timely and professional manner. I clean remaining cement off and head back to plant. Fuel truck and put air in tire as needed. If I find issues with the truck I fill out a truck maintenance sheet and place truck out of service to be repaired.

I log in to Flex app and get my itinerary and EMentor to track and score my driving. I load in order of my delivery (First in Last Out). I scan each package at point of delivery, take a picture of package if no one to receive and go to the next stop. At the end of my delivery, I bring bags back that held packages to Amazon. I go to the designated gas station and fill the van up and head back to the parking lot. I would do ride along with new hires to observe strengths and any weaknesses that would need to be addressed.

Duties: Load extruder machine with specific bobbin (nylon material that collects rubber and keeps it from touching as it wraps around the reel) weighing between 50 to 80 pounds. Once it is loaded it collects the rubber. Once it is finish, I had to put loaded reel in specific lane with a forklift and replace the extruder with another bobbin and empty reel before the rubber came down from the loading machine. Had to document and test each product. Had to verify machine calibrations and settings. Teach new hires how to operate and load machinery consistent with Michelin’s S.O. P’s & OSHA.
