Objective: I am pursuing a position as a Medical Assistant.

I have extensive experience providing medical care to patients in my position as a Medical Doctor at two hospitals in Kyiv, Ukraine. I have worked as part of an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals to diagnose patients and design appropriate treatment plans. I have effectively handled patients who were in medical emergencies and quickly communicated with other doctors and surgeons involved in their care. My position as a radiologist required me to think on my feet as lives of my patients depended on my quick action, particularly when I needed to provide a diagnosis to individuals who experienced a hemorrhagic stroke. A delayed treatment could have devastating consequences.

I have provided care to patients of all ages, and I understand the nuances of their needs depending on their age and risk factors. I served patients from different socio-economic backgrounds, including homeless individuals and people of very low income, as the hospitals I worked at were government-funded and provided free medical care. I am fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian, so I was able to communicate with patients who spoke either of those languages.

I have strong work ethic: I was always punctual, I worked long shifts, and covered shifts of other physicians who called in sick. I prided myself on providing outstanding care and upholding the highest standards of my profession. Daily, I was facing numerous competing priorities: I was needed in multiple places at once. I effectively prioritized my tasks and first directed my attention to the most pressing issues, particularly those impacting the lives of the sickest patients that required immediate care.
