Noteworthy projects
• Implementation of the Server 2012 R2 Direct Access clientless VPN solution
• Deployment of a Citrix XenDesktop environment serving both virtual desktops and applications to clients both inside and outside the local network.
• Migrated company from Citrix 6.5 farm to XenDesktop 7.6, now updated to 7.16
• Citrix NetScaler deployment as a Citrix Access Gateway as well as load balancing other servers and services. HA pairing and firmware maintenance.
• Hardened servers and services in response to internal penetration testing.
• Upgraded several remote locations out of state with little to no supervision.
• Upgrades included client systems, remote domain controllers, and in some cases networking equipment.
• Upgrade of the company from a mixed environment of Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, and Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012 R2 across the board. Now beginning to test and implement Server 2016.
• Upgrades required moving many services to the new format such as internal PKI services, Remote Desktop Services (formally Terminal Services), DNS, DHCP, Printing Services, etc.
• Moved the company from Windows XP to Windows 7 and now into Windows 10.
