Field incoming phone calls, emails, and other patient inquiries Schedule and arrange patient appointments for MRIs, CTs, ultrasounds, and other examinations
Organize and maintain patient files, both electronic and paper Manage calendar and scheduled appointments for patients accordingly, and reschedule if need be
Prepare and send out appointment confirmation notices Arrange patient referrals and imperative documentation prior to each appointment
Set-up, record, and update patient database
Register new patients according to established policies Greet visitors entering the health center, determine the nature and purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate destination
Maintain unit operations by ensuring the team is compliant with policies and procedures
Adhere to confidentiality, policies, procedures, and other healthcare regulations
Handle all patient inquiries with tact and diplomacy Record and process OHIP/MOH information, patient
information, and other details pertaining to the patient's visit Ensure high-levels of accuracy when entering data
