I'm recently working as a Certified Medical Assistant at Sun City Pediatric Clinic. I screened patients, check vital signs, and recorded. Administered vaccines to new borns, infants, toddlers or even older ones and teens. I was able to send the vital signs electronically to the Dr's, scheduled patients for new appointments, referred them to other specialists, or even send patients to labs, etc.

Spending my externship at Immunize of EIPaso as a medical assistant student had given me self

confidence and capable of doing the medical assistant's job. Since I had experienced in working in the

hospital and clinics make me feel comfortable, and familiar in working at Immunize EIPaso Clinic. Even though I spent one month in doing the medical assistant job at Immunize ElPaso, I was able to give several intramuscular and subcutaneous shots for both adults, youth, toddlers or even infants. I also did phlebotomy while working there. I could say that I learned a lot from there and at the same time it built my confidence, and looking forward to do any medical assistant jobs in any hospitals or clinics. Thank you.

Among many applicants that were applying to Kosrae Community Health Center as a staff nurse, I was selected as the staff nurse for Community Health Center in Tofol, Kosrae. I screened the patients, checked and recorded vital signs, administered medications, checked AlC. Did phlebotomy, cleaned and dressed wounds, rescheduled patients for follow up, etc.

After I graduated from College with an Associate of Science Degree in nursing, I went home and started working in the hospital. I screened patients, checked and recorded vital signs. I gave and instruct patients with their medications. I dressed wounds and collected specimens for the inpatients. I drew blood and sent to laboratories. For those patients that were immobilized, I measured the input and output fluids. I did all the works that a staff nurse is needed to do.
