* Communicating with the pharmacist and doctors concerning any types of prescriptions being dropped off or sent electronically. Listen to customers questions and needs about any type of over the counter item, medication, or insurance claims. Provide the upmost care and empathy for patients. This includes making sure all their prescriptions are being filled through their insurance or a discount card and making sure to help them out with any cost concerns. Also, in charge of filling prescriptions and compounding medications. This includes counting, measuring and mixing different drugs. Speak to patients if there are any changes in their medication such as a dose change, drug change, or if they are getting off the medication. This information is then communicated back to the pharmacist which is then updated in the patients profile. Pharmacy Intern 9/2020 - Current

Gaining hands-on experience with the staff pharmacist and learning about how a pharmacist is properly run.
