I started out with laying up parts for di erent customers like Boeing. I learned the lamination of composite processes from prepreg materials. The requirements and specifications from the customer about every Planning-Traveler for work processes. I worked to meet production and schedule requirements. To ensure quality outcomes I used tools like calipers, micrometers, high gauges, protractor, and ring gauges. In my last five years at the company I was a supporting supervisor which meant I helped all the new employees with their training, and would be called if my immediate supervisor was not available. For the first year I did lamination in small parts, and layup materials in molds. My supervisor recommended I assist and learn from another department, 8 Plus department, based on my knowledge base.For the last four years I was moved to 8 Plus where I learned the layup of materials in big molds, bagging, and successfully fit layers of material free from wrinkles, air pockets, and voids.
