OBJECTIVE: A position a Medical Technologist that will utilize my communication skills, broad laboratory background, and my will to succeed.

Work Experience: my last position was primarily in hematology at the Jack C Montgomery VA Hospital, using Sysmex N-2000 machine and two different models of Stagos coagulation machines and an Iris to do urines; every third weekend covering Blood Bank; currently do phlebotomy on the floors every morning and occasional Micro set-up; Have worked in histology for 13 months; previous position was using 2 Sysmex machines; my last full time position on the bench had coverage in all areas including: chemistry, special chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, serology, electrophoresis, microbiology, and phlebotomy

Have experience spanning twenty+ years that includes private doctor’s laboratories, hospital laboratories, two reference laboratories, and two veteran’s administration hospitals, have set up private labs for doctor’s, consulted for private labs for surveys in microbiology, and been a supervisor of second shift at a private laboratory
