Description:

Capital One Auto Finance Auto Dialer Project is developed to reduce operational costs and boost the collections from the past due customers. Capital One in affiliation with an auto dialing third party vendor, reaches out to more customers, by reducing the time spent by the call center agents.

There are several stages to filter out auto dialing customers every day.

Used batch jobs, streams, API calls in this process.

Implemented this project Using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Rest APIs and

Kafka Streams.

Project Title : E2BK Sold Quote SPAS

Client : Kaiser Permanente (KP)

Description:

The Easy to Buy and Keep(E2BK) Sold Quote process implements the completion of the sales process for a new Large Group Commercial prospect who is interested in acquiring health insurance from Kaiser Permanente (KP). The Sold Quote process starts after the sales team presented one or more quotes to the customer or broker to determine which KP offerings are desired (aka prospect quoting) and when the customer or broker identifies what offering they would like to purchase. The sales team identifies the quote that corresponds to what the customer would like to purchase. The process ends when the sales team completed and submitted the Purchaser Advice (PA).

The Sold Quote solution is building on the existing KPSC, NPS and SPAS systems, but does not materially change them. It introduces new interfaces (web services) to retrieve data from KPSC and NPS and automatically create data in SPAS that is currently created manually.

Involved in design and development of new web services.

Implemented Restful web services to setup prerequisites and Rated Quote

Request (RQR).

Used Oracle Database and Oracle SQL Developer.

Project Title : National Rating Tool (NRT)

Description:

NRT, National Rating Tool is a central repository for all actuarial approved rates and rating support material for the distribution of rates across the many systems in Kaiser Permanente. NRT maintains Commercial, Ancillary and Medicare rates, each individual rate is associated with a Plan id, Rating area code, age and tobacco use. Various systems in NRT can get the rates directly through the NRT application or through a web service call.

Worked on server-side implementation using Spring MVC and integrated Spring with MyBatis to implement persistent layer.

Troubleshooting issues and fixing bugs.

Front end validations and development using ExtJS and AJAX.

Used Oracle database and IBM WebSphere Application Server for development of the project.
