Job duties include: I wrote internal procedures to be followed by lab personnel, and made Excel sheets to simplify tasks for lab technicians. Also, I made simplified training documents to help new employees learn the job. I made weekly schedules for technicians to follow. I oversaw calibrations were performed correctly and in a timely manner. I also calibrated instruments as needed to help control the workflow. Also, i troubleshot problems and found solutions to keep work flowing. I trained lab technicians, conducted performance reviews and worked with the technicians on goals for their IPPs. I worked with manufacturers on designing new products, then testing them, to see if all requirements are met. I worked with engineers designing new adaptors for calibrations as needed. I worked with quality on procedures, internal and external requirements and standards. I helped customers answer any questions or concerns they might have via phone and email. I also worked on six sigma projects to make the lab more efficient.

Job duties include: Set up and run CNC and check parts to blue prints to ensure they are within the allowable tolerances using all types of measuring tools, including mics, calipers, and gauges. Also, changing tooling and inserts and making changes as needed to ensure parts are running properly. As a utility operator, I was put on whichever machines needed ran the most and I would cover for operators that were off.
