Welder / Fabricator August 2005 to Current

● Extensive knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG welding, oxy-fuel welding, and arc welding.

● Maintain welds on various items using a variety of processes of inert tungsten gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, cement core drilling, sheet metal, steam fitting, safety bars, and carts to ensure availability.

● Skill with satisfactory preparation and performing a functional job with band saws, grinders, brakes, shear rolls, drill press, chop saw, and flame cutters.

● Knowledge of repairing metal surfaces of doors, drain covers, fences, gates, and sheet metal.

● Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for the safe handling of heating equipment and metals.

● Close tolerance for precision sheet metal .005 to .010 and machining .0002 to .0001.

● Knowledge of stock allowance for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of the metal being used.
