Responsible for Construction Administration & Inspection services for Commissioning new, Modification and testing of Exhaust Fan, Damper, Actuators, rotary limit switches, damper door operation at the Queens Ventilation Building (QVB) and Manhattan Ventilation Building (MVB) of NYCTA for Queens Midtown Tunnel, the most important tunnel connecting Manhattan and Queens and which is by the UN Head Office building. Lead abatement, painting, electrical wiring with sub DB box, conduits installation for lighting & actuator connection (as contract docs). Ensured LOTO operations performed properly. The work area safety & worker safety was ensured strictly, monitored ‘Tool Box’ mtg., job description mtg. Sent daily progress report to the PM.

1) Green Infrastructure Geotechnical Project: 10/29/2020-12/19/2020

It was a project under DDC. Determined soil permeability rates & depths to ground water level and bed rock. Installation of catch basins to restore rain water, in Flashing, NYC area.

2) Installation of Sanitation Sewer & Storm Sewer Line, Catch Basins: (DDC Project): Replaced the old sanitation and storm sewer line with higher sized pipe. Had to ensure the safety of the gas and electrical main and service lines crossing or running through the trench or across, taking measurements to pay the contractor.

3) Arthur-Sheridan Enhancement Project [Project cost $97 M) (10/26/18 – 01/22/20)

(NYSDOT Project) Inspecting & ensuring the ConEd property Electric, Gas and Steam lines are safe during the excavation & reconstruction work (paving and cc) of Sheridan Expwy including installation of new catch basins and storm water discharging drain pipes, ped-crossing light, intelligent signaling. Replacement of Low tension 12” gas main by 16” pipes.

Supervised the paving and resurfacing of the local roads in Bronx by NYCDOT, ensuring that the utility manholes & gas pits are not damaged, took measurement for payments.

a) Outdoor lighting Upgrade at Bruckner Service Station:

Supervised the excavation of pole pit, shoring, digging of trench for conduits, erection of light posts, pulling of conductors through conduits

b) Van Nest Service Station: Replacement of Oil Filled XF by Dry one:

Supervised the removal of old Transformer and conduits and installation of new conduits and troughs, construction of new concrete base for XF & HT switchgear as per the approved drawings. The safety measures were taken with proper PPE for work area safety. Monitored the Tool Box mtg, job description mtg.

2) Ensured the safety precaution taken for the lead abatement work of the paint spray booth, ensured that the worker wear safety dress, musk with HEPA filter during the demolition work

3) Removal & installation of electrical power supply (main & sub DB), sprinkler system and compressed air supply system & gas supply.

4) Replacement of the HVAC unit and related duct from the ceiling and roof top. Ensured house keeping, air pollution control, dust removal and the precaution for removal of old insulation.

Monitored load distribution of the metropolitan Dhaka City during the peak hours. Managed preparing and sending daily interruption reports to the higher authority of the ministry.

Monitored the 132kv line and sub-station operation, repair & maintenance work and 132kv & 33 kv underground cable laying & splicing, Auto Re-closer, Capacitor bank installatio.
