Work Experience
Operations Supervisor
YRC yellow - Shrewsbury, MA
April 2021 to December 2022
I was layered off due to a nation wide corporate order for a reduction in workforce. Seniority based only. References upon request.
My responsibilities included supervising a 3-4 employee teamster loading crew to strip 18-22 loads of local pick ups and reloading cubed trailers to Maybrook and Buffalo for National distribution. We handled approximately 240 bols at 250k lbs and 350 units per night. I also managed the dispatching of the 8 sets of doubles that we loaded each night.
My work schedule was set at 4:00-done. Generally 9-12 hours/night.
I worked the first 15 months without missing a single hour of my schedule. No sick or vacation time.
