At amazon, I started out as a team member where we are required to lift up to 50 lb. boxes onto conveyor belts, also ensuring the correct labeling is placed on the boxes. After two weeks I was asked to join the problem solve team. This team took all the boxes that encountered problems, ranging from damaged products to wrong labeling to mis shipped packages. The duties of a problem solver were performed on computers throughout a whole shift.

At Dollar General, as a key holder, we are required to be able to assist with customer returns, opening and closing the store, sending out packages for customers, counting starting and ending tills, assisting other associates with change when needed, and counting the deposit at the end of the night along with doing bank runs. Also as a key holder we represent the company of Dollar General so delivering excellent customer service experience is a major part of our day. We are required to stock shelves and put items in the correct sections to keep a clean and organized store!

I also ensure the team completes weekly outdates, to ensure we have no expired products on the shelves. At Walgreens, there is never a dull moment, I am required to help wherever necessary, whether that is in the Photo Department, front registers for a return or cash deposit, the Pharmacy, or helping vendors, you are constantly moving and working on keeping the store up to date and assisting customers throughout the day. We assist customers with making payments and helping push out payments due to hardships. We assist customers by advising them of how actions affect them both positively and negatively throughout the loan. Bridgecrest wants customers to save money on the loan rather than fall delinquent and pay more for a vehicle than intended to.

We use different tools to impact customer decisions, but our main focus is to build positive relationships with customers and deliver excellent customer service to let them know we are there to help them in any way we can and advise them of what in the best of their interest and money. Working at this call center has improved my computer skills, data entry skills, and multitasking skills.

Feed My Starving Children

I have volunteered for more than 6 hours to feed children in need, through this program in Tempe, AZ, by bagging and packing food to send to multiple third-world countries(Philippines, Africa, etc).
