ROUTE DRIVER

Retail Merchandiser’s adequately stock our vending machines and micro-markets with food, snacks, and drinks on established routes to businesses throughout the city and surrounding areas while being on the open road working independently. Merchandiser’s you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an average 10-hour day. Merchandisers drive a company box truck to deliver the wide range of products offered.

Washes exterior of vehicles using power washer and brushes; sweeps and removes trash from vehicles Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles. Fuels buses, replenishes fluids, and logs and records all fluids used. Performs light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities. Reports any maintenance issues to Supervisor Driver safely operates a vehicle in variant weather and traffic conditions. A good understanding of the basic needs of clients covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the ability to operate lift-equipped vehicles and to transport passengers using various mobility devices.

Loading and unloading freight into trucks or vans in a timely manner Hit all deliveries and pickups within the given time frames Perform Daily vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle is in safe and working condition. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles Communicate delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to your dispatcher.
