Most recently, I was involved with the new Ka Makana Ali’i mall in Kapolei. I successfully worked with many general contractors, architects, and engi- neers on the buildout of each store. I worked with architect “E” plans and specifications to eval- uate for telecommunication requirements and provide cost effective and efficient recommenda- tion where needed to provide a better overall product. I visited the project side several times a week to monitor progress to ensure the work was being done on time and within budget and to help resolve any design and/or construction issues. I worked with each customer to gather their telecommunication requirements and ensured they completed their end of installation (telecom backboard, dedicated a/c outlet, and inside wiring) to ensure a complete and usable end product. We held weekly meetings where I facilitated the coordination of everyone’s roles on each build- out and encouraged teamwork in order to meet customers’ requirements and target deadlines. When on construction sites, I made sure our team abided by all safety rules, policies, and proce- dures. Ensured personnel were equipped with and utilized the proper personnel protective equipment.
