●Lead and assure that on-site electrical activities including resource management, procedure development, schedule coordination, materials / tools / vendor support, system/equipment troubleshooting, and adjusting plan due to resource issues for a safe and efficient execution.

●Plant and substation related all the electrical equipments fault, irregular shutdown, parts failure and abnormality trouble shooting and attending the faults with in accepted time limit.

Summary of Job Profile and Activities

Electrical Equipments Erection and Maintenance as follows :

●Various voltages rating electrical distribution system switchgear Installation and maintenance.

●MV/LV Power distribution transformer Erection and commissioning.

●Power and control cable glanding and termination for panels and various kind of DB’s

●Maintenance of DG set up to 250 to 1500 KVA for emergency power source.

●Preparation of final as built drawing at site and coordinates with engineering department personnel.

●To ensure that all persons within the Electrical team fully comply with all Project HSE requirements.

●Vendor coordination for UPS, Battery, Battery charger, VFD Panels, Emergency shutdown system and IEC Panel to final check & witness of shutdown system interlocks.

●Installation of Plant Normal, Emergency Lighting system and DC Critical Lighting systems.

●Approval of drawings, Project Scheduling, Supervision, Commissioning, Operation, Maintenance and handing over as per clients requirements.

●Electrical equipments, materials, cables and conduit accessories inspected at site as per approval documents, Engineering standards and Quality manual.

●Responsible for site Supervision, monitor the contractor work progress and quality of work as per ITP.

●Prepare and monitoring the daily work schedule and Activities.

●Maintenance in all electrical work under HSE and safety precaution for working in hazardous area.

●Preparing the client bill, subcontractor & sub agency bill.

Job Achievements / Specialization

●As on date all the electrical Construction and maintenance work done with work procedure, approved permit and without any hazardous, accident and work / man power loss.

●Preparing check-list, Maintenance schedule, weekly / Monthly reports of Engineer activities carried out and Spares reservation / holding of material for major electrical / electronic equipments used in the plant.

●Able to read & draw, As-built the circuit diagrams, electrical schematics, Work permit systems, Plant safety, Hazardous area, international electrical standard codes & Practices etc.

●Familiar with Distribution & Transmission of power systems in the Refinery complex.

●Failure analysis reports, highlighting reasons for equipment failure & suggest remedial measures so as to avoid future failure.

Standards & Specification

Conversant with IE Rule 1956 for HT/LT Electrical Installation, Operation and Maintenance.

Conversant with electrical protection ANSI codes and related protection equipments specification.

Software Credentials

Basic Knowledge in AUTOCAD (Able to draw Engineering drawings).

Computer Knowledge – Microsoft Windows XP, VISTA, WINDOWS 7, MS Office–2007.
