Dec. 1997 – Present.

I started working in the classified advertising department on Dec. 1, 1997 until 2003. Duties included selling classified ads, inputting of obituaries, legal notices and other announcements. Assisted customers with their advertising needs.

2003-2016 –Merging of Classified and Circulation Depts. In addition to advertising, I was Customer service rep for Circulation Department which included all aspects of newspaper delivery, selling subscriptions, collecting, etc.

Nov. 2016 – Feb. 2018 - Classified Dept. Supervisor – Team leader of department with four employees. I was employed in that capacity until 2019.

Oct. 2019 – Kenosha News was sold. Moved to new location.

Currently employed as receptionist in main lobby. Handle all walk in customers. Input obituaries, legal notices, classified advertising, and circulation orders. Assist customers, greet visitors, do all mailing, set up appointments, etc.

General ledger work, payroll and computer data entry.

Worked there until I went full time at the Kenosha News.

I am experienced in computer work, cash handling and reconciliation, with great attention to detail. I have many years of working with the public and enjoy interacting with customers. Proficient in Microsoft (Office, Word and Office 365). Excellent math and bookkeeping skills.
