This instrument evidences the extension of installment due under a contract dated October 11, 2019, executed by the undersigned Buyer(and Co-Buyer) and held by GM Financial. The terms and provisions of said contract, except as herein modified, remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein by reference with the terms of your contract.
When you resume making payments, the interest that accrued up to and during the extension period will be paid before any payments to principal. The extension will delay repayment of principal resulting in additional interest accruing over the life of the account than if you had not entered into the extension. This will likely result in a higher final payment due at the end of your contract on the new maturity date. In the event that GM Financial determines, subsequent to the date hereof, that the Extension Fee paid by Buyer exceeds the maximum fee permitted by applicable law, GM Financial will rebate the overcharge to Buyer by making a credit entry to Buyer account in the amount of the overcharge. INSURANCE EXPIRATION NOTICE
Buyer (and Co-Buyer) understands that this extension does not include the extension of insurance coverage, if any, for which a separate charge was included in the contract described above, and Buyer (and Co-Buyer) assumes full responsibility for extending such coverage after the expiration date stated in the insurance policy or certificate.
