Objective:

My primary goal as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, is to be aware and able to utilize my experience as a clinician, a receptionist, an Office/Business Treatment Coordinator, EFCDA, and as a Dental Hygienist Assistant. Education:

Graduated from Penn Valley Community College 2004 as an EFDA,AAS, where I was ranked in the 10% of my class.

The primary focal points were based on: General Dentistry, Pedodontics, Periodontics/Hygiene, Prosthodontics, Basic Life Support and Vitals, fabrication of models and some trimming, Intra oral scanning, bleach Trays, Charting, filing, writing Lab scripts, Some Pharmacology, as a receptionist, Billing and Coding, Office Management, X-rays, Nitrous Oxide, Sterilization, Statum, Universal Precaution, Disinfection, Ordering Supplies and inventory,

OSHA Regulations, Maintenance of Equipment, MSDS, Charting, 4 and 6 handed dentistry, OHI, prophy and polishing, some scaling, Tutor, Knowledgeable of Ortho Treatments and Implants, and I am able to utilize my education in order to be more marketable.

Intern:

I had gotten hired during my intern assignment while still in school. One of our many strengths was that we could see roughly 50+ patients, on a regular basis. We were privileged to see Medicaid, Insurance, and Cash/Credited Patients within the community.
