Objective

To help companies get aircraft fixed and maintain airworthiness. My experience on Boeing 737’s (worked MAX also, from Renton through completion center for Skin issues) and 747, 757, 767 at MRO’s for heavy checks. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills due to the background and Structures College. 20+ years of experience with a variety of aircraft and projects, BBJ’s and conversions. Chinook’s, 107’s and 234’s I am very familiar with, tons of fabrication from every level. I am called upon to fix projects, hand walk the engineers through the process of how to adjust and fix EO’s and mostly correct mistakes made from other “experienced mechanics”. It’s just my role, I accept it. Multiple annual and biannual inspections ranging from engine checks, prop check, bleed pressure inspection, oil filter, fire retardant tank inspections. Located and repaired floor beams, frames and stringers. Major structural repairs and sheet metal fabrication required. Very familiar with all service and repair manuals, NAVAIR blueprints/WINAIR, engineering orders/engineering change orders

Cargo Door Modification, Precision Aviation Solutions (Contract through Aviation Personnel) 2021-2022 LEAD SUPERVISOR IN BACK SHOP

Building Cargo Doors/upper support sills/lower support sills for 757's, installing parts on the correct tooling, drilling, reaming, countersinking, installing fasteners, set up collective locking device, hinge plates, freeze plugs, etc. Heavy structures/Internal Tank Installation, HeliMax 2020-2021 Reading and interpreting blueprints, working with engineers to plan to fit new composite tanks, make/adjust/cut/trim to fit and proper installation. Skins, Stringers, beams, MODS, supports, fairings, and tooling. Aircraft component repair, forming shapes as needed. Worked with engineering to fit newly fabricated internal fire deterrent tanks.

Engine Shop Columbia Helicopters 2020

Service on AL5512 Turbine engine and gaining power plant experience for my A&P license. Total teardown/rebuild with a solid understanding of all the intricity and fragility. Troubleshooting, Test cell experience, extensive knowledge of all the parts, proper procedures and inspection requirements and evaluation to determine if air-worthy. Use of calibrated tools of all types to cleaning in solvent tanks and hand clean the extremely sensitive items. Heavy Structures Boeing, Everett WA (E-91) 2019

Working on the 767 Tanker project for the Air Force, through the Italian company which fabricated slats (1 -12) I worked my way into the back-shop to correct major issues which required a precision mechanic to fix without causing further damage. Reskin if needed, lots of beam repairs and replacements, and engineering assorted issues handled with ease.

Heavy Structures ATS, Everett, WA (Contracted through Cannon Aviation) 2018-2019 Worked in component shop, reskinning cargo doors and the L1 door (replacing the #4 and #5 beams, as they were constantly cracking). Primarily, I worked on slats(1-8) which consisted of careful assessment of damage and precise determination of airworthiness followed by performing the actual repair per Boing data repairs or engineering, replacing the TIA tubes, repairing the beams and numerous skin repairs. Heavy Structures Boeing, Renton, WA (Contracted through Stromm for Spirit Aerospace) 2017-2018 Worked at the final assembly factory, uninstalling damaged components and making repairs to removed parts or locating and documenting proper installation of missing parts from Spirit in Wichita. This was a very timepressured environment and I thrived. Accomplished repairs to floor beams, frames and stringers. Performed multiple, various skin replacements and patch repairs.

Performed heavy checks for 757, 737, 767 and MD 88’s Major structural repairs and sheet metal fabrication. Very familiar with all service and repair manuals, blueprints and Engineering Orders, Light Interior work as well as work on flight controls.
