Transportation Supervisor
Hilton Houston North & Marriott North Hotels (Company owned both hotels.) - Houston, TX April 2009 to March 2020
• Responsible for 20 drivers and making sure that those drivers picked up guests from IAH and delivered them to either the Hilton or Marriott hotel. Also, responsible for drivers picking up guests at both hotels and taking them to the IAH in order to make their flights. Being courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about their job was of the utmost priority.
As the pandemic hit on last year, EVERYONE, including my the immediate supervisor was also released.
I went into semi-retirement and worked sporadically with various Black Owner/Operators who tried starting their own trucking business, but unfortunately, all did not succeed. I went back to trucking school at the 160 Drive Academy for a 120-hour refresher course and completed it in January of this year. Education

Additional Information
My first truck driving school was Tri-State Trucking where I graduated in 2001. With that gap of some 20 years, I decided to attend truck driving school once more and attended 1 for60 Drive Academy for their 120-hour refresher course.
