Dave Moore-Deceased

David E. Moore was born on son of ? and He attended LaSalle GS and was a member of EPCHS Class of 1965. Dave was a letterman on the football and wrestling teams. Dave was in the Army until he became sick and was honorably discharged. He later had a kidney transplant. He went to Canton Junior College and ISU for his Bachelors Degree and later received a Masters Degree in Business from ISU. He married Rita Kieffer. They had two children: Tomora Aimee and Amanda. Dave and Rita owned and operated a restaurant (Lunch Train) in Pekin until it burnt down. They then started a catering business and provided meals for St Francis Nursing Center and for the Peoria Jail. Dave moved to Florida (Marathon, Ft Myer) and had jobs as a scuba diver and as a leader of fishing trips. He also caught fish and sold them to stores and restaurants. He restored an old boat. He married a nurse, Cindy Exsteine. Dave passed away on December 1999. He is buried at Cemetery in Illinois.
