·Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

·Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.

·Operates the stretch wrap banders.

·Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

·Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.

·Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

·Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

·Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.

·Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

·Picking orders as requested by management.

·Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.

·Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.

·Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.

·Loading and unloading trucks by using totes, jacks and forklifts.

·Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
