AI Challenge HCM 2021 – Event Retrieval from Visual Data Description: Build a retrieval system for video segmentation taken from 300 hours of news. Our proposed method: Use the CLIP model to extract information from keyframes and text queries. Then use the SCANN model to find the nearest neighbors

My responsibilities: Build a web interface that allows keyframe searches based on text queries. Recognition and Gains: Second prize in the Final Round. BKAI-Naver AI Challenge 2022 - Body Segmentation and Action Recognition Description: Solve the gesture recognition problem based on the provided shorted-video-type dataset through a body segmentation preprocessing task on each frame.

Our proposed method: Train and predict the Body Segmentation subtask with Unet model. To segment the video, use the resulting Body Segmentation. Using SlowFast's video feature extractor to solve the subtask of Gesture Recognition. My responsibilities: Team leader, try out various gesture recognition models. Recognition and Gains: 9th in the Public Test round. AI4VN 2022 - VAIPE: Medicine Pill Image Recognition Challenge Description: Detect and recognize pills found in prescriptions and identify pills not found on prescriptions. Our proposed method: Use FGVC-PIM for classification and Yolov7 for Detection. My responsibilities: Relabel the dataset to improve our performance. Experiment with detection and recognition models. Recognition and Gains: 6th in the Public Test round. AI Challenge HCM 2021 – Vietnamese Scene Text Recognition Description: Text detected and recognized in the wild using various types of cameras. Our proposed method: Use ABCNetv2 to detect text and use VietOCR and SRN for recognition problems. My responsibilities: Collect data and relabel data to improve models to achieve reliable results. Analysis of problems, propose and design a new pipeline.

Recognition and Gains: Consultation prize in the Final Round.
