Experience:-

·Working as RF Drive Test, EMF survey and Post Processing Engineer for 1 Years in UNI INFO PVT Networks Project with Huawei Vodafone at Kerala location.

·My current salary is 13000/ rs only in this period

·Regular duties and responsibilities of RF DT Engineer:

·To perform drive test for 3G services by using TEMS 9.1.4, 10.0.5,17.4.2 Genex Probe 3.15 etc.

·Responsible for site testing such as standalone which covers; Soft handover, intersystem handover testing, Ec/Io, Rscp, etc.

·To perform cluster drive and post processing of log files.

·Make report and post processing and analysing call drops, call setup failure, and coverage holes by MAP INFO 9 and Genex Assistant .

·Attend costumer complaints.

·Neighbour deletion and keep monitoring of HO performance.

·Swap testing and physical optimization

·Studying log files and analysing reasons for call drops, HO failure. Perfoming physical optimization like changing orientation depending upon clutter, tilt, and verifying SWAP and rectified it by manual tracing.

·Prepare Powerpoint Presentation plots for the Radio Parameters like Rx level, Rx quality, C/I, SQI, etc.

·Performing various types of Drive test like SCFT, Benchmarking in between to operators, and Cluster Drive, SSV, Etc.

·Plotting Rx level & Quality information for overall picture of the driven area.

·Initial discussions on drive test with local engineers.

·Reporting urgent problems for immediate actions.

·Transferring comments on parameters implementations after new changes.

Working Expertise On 2G & 3G: RF Drive test using TEMS Investigation and Map Info to Investigate and analyse the signal level and quality of 2G, 3G and 4G mobile Network and discover and solving the cross sector/feeder problems, & interference problems & main site problems, cover clusters etc,

·Responsible for oversee technical review and analysis of network quality improvement plan.

·Analysis of GSM system quality, capacity, coverage, Neighbours, and Neighbours list analysis, Handover parameter, cell parameter, and interference analysis via drive test data.

·Drive test analysis to check on the problematic areas,test routes and new sites,

·Benchmarking analysis and solution on network quality.SSV, cluster Drive, scanning DATA Edge/Gprs and Hot spot testing indoor and outdoor, Idle mode, dedicated mode,data testing mode, cut-over troubleshooting, customer complaints, Redesigning,Pre and Post Drive Tests, Rx level, Rx Quality, C/I, SQI monitoring .

·Log File analysis using Map Info and Tems investigation.

·SSV, TRX testing, Intra HO testing, Coverage Testing, PS testing, PDP, UL, DL.

·New site Verification, costumer complaints, Benchmarking to evaluate the network performance,

·Drive Test, Walk Test, Cluster Drive test,RSSI Scanning, Data Testing and SMS testing.

· Making the thematic of the collected log files in Map info professional for further analysis after drive test.

·Resolving the HO issues, Sector swapping and partial swapping, Rx quality, overshooting issues etc.

4G LTE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out basic parameter checks such as RSRP, SINR, and Throughput during the Test.

LTE Network Launch & Cluster Optimization. Planning of RF parameter, Hardware configuration & field level changes in Ericsson.

Single site drive test, created site acceptance report format, drive test analysis.

Ensuring KPIs to be met RSRP, RSRP statistics, DL/UL throughput, Latency.

Analysis of KPIs Accessibility (RACH issues, multiple RRC connection request etc.), Retain ability (PS drops), Integrity, Mobility.

Responsibilities of Post Processing:

Drive test analysis to improve 2G & 3G coverage and quality.

Drive test analysis to solve ping pong, pilot pollution and other problems

2G & 3G KPI monitoring through stats.

Recommend Hard and soft parameter changes to improve live network performance.

Direct co-ordination with OMC for adding missing neighbours, removing frequency clashes and other activities needed during Drive Test.

Accessibility, Drop CS/PS, Retain ability, Mobility, IRAT & Soft Handover, RRC Connection, RAB Establishment.

Network parameters analysis and KPI evaluation IRAT, SC, RSCP, Ec/No, SIR, TX power of 3G.

Drive Test data post-analysis and evaluation.

Report activity for 2G &3G parameters evaluation in order to improve RAN performances.

Coordinate activities and support drive test teams.

Cluster definition and drive test routes design using MapInfo, google Earth.

3G DT Log analysis for field optimization.

·3G DT on Probe 2.3/3.14/Tems 13.1 Tool for drive testing for HSDPA, Video calls, voice calls analysis and Handovers ( soft,softer, and Hard Handover)

·Responsible for Pre and Post Drive Report analysis report to check network improvement

·To optimize drop reasons for uplink and downlink, quality and signal strength issues.

·To optimize sites according to the clutter requirement

·Optimisation of sites according to network issues like SD Drop, TCH Drop, CSSR, HOSR, SD blocking, TCH blocking

·Optimisation of cell sites by investigating capacity and coverage problem, overshooting sites, Interference, dropped calls, missing neighbours,coverage holes, Non-working sites or sectors, proper handover, hopping.

·Verifying soft handover, 3G to 2G IRAT handover, and 3G to 2G Idell Cell Reselection, and 2G to 3G IRAT Cell Reselection.

·ICR Testing for Different Operators.

·Banchmarking Drive for the operator

·Testing voice, video calling and HSDPA Speed.

·Finding the best possible configuration for antenna heights,tilts, and Azimuths for all the cells/sectors in the network and thus responsible for optimization of the network.

·Trouble shooting and resolving issues like call drop, handover failure & call.

·To check particular site HSDPA ( Data Drive 3G) enabled or not.

·Check is working or not and check uplink HSUPA and Downlink HSDPA speed for that particular network.

Technical Skills & Tools:

Making reports of the RF survey and LOS survey on ms office and making DT reports on Map info.

Design Tool : MapInfo 8.5 and Genex Assistant
