I have carried out various advisory and technical financial oil consulting activities in the regions of the West and Faja del Orinoco, such as:

- In projects related to the evaluation of the economic technical feasibility of the determination and selection of drainage points for the drilling of probable candidate wells in critical areas of the Orinoco Belt. Also, the appropriate selection of the type of drill to be used in any or specific area or region.

- In the different Joint Ventures offering a different typology of specialized services, related to: operations during drilling, rehabilitation and well services.

- Review and evaluation of projects linked to the search for the improvement of production, in those wells that merit a specialized intervention, to increase their production and lengthen their productive life.

- Implementation of the production measurement project through the use of multiphase meters and portable separators with advanced measurement technology.

I have been working, together with businessmen from the country and other countries, in actions related to the hiring of drills and rental of them, to work in neighboring countries, such as: Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia.

Likewise, in projects for the improvement of production through the application of rehabilitation and production techniques with specialized services, in oil fields of northeastern Colombia and in the jungle zone of Ecuador.

I*m currently advising a consortium on the start of a preliminary project for the dismantling of an oil Aruba refinery and its surroundings. Likewise, I advise on the formation of a geoscience team for the evaluation of an oil field in northern Colombia.

Facts and relevant activities

• Improvement of the educational level, reaching three university careers during my career of 38 years of administrative and technical-operational career, referred to below: Higher University Technician in Hydrocarbons, Petroleum Mention, Petroleum Engineer and Magister Scentiarum in Financial Management. It is emphasized that during these stages of study, there was no institutional support from the Employer, absolutely everything was achieved with their own efforts.

• Provide technical support to production units to improve production profiles.

• Technical advice specialized in planning, design, as well as coordination and supervision in drilling, rehabilitation, production and work engineering of the activities.

• Daily monitoring of all operational activity, I have also provided technical and engineering support to operations.

• Identification of production problems with analysis of reports, samples and data records.

• Identification of opportunities for production optimization and cost reduction, providing engineering support, redesigning well completions in conjunction with a trained interdisciplinary team, including reservoir, geology, petrophysics and operations engineering.

• Development options and cost estimates for well interventions, writing of work proposals, application for permits and well intervention programs. As well as, the development of best operational practices and the provision of operational support.

• Work in conjunction with reservoir specialists, drilling and rehabilitation and completion of wells, developed plans and options for selection for the re-drilling or drilling of a new well, abandonment of the well, the best fluid selection of water-based or oil-based drilling and / or brine for the protection of the perforated deposit, correction of primary cementations and design of the completion.

• Leadership of special projects, such as: water control technologies, service and completion using hydraulic units, correction of problems of primary cementation using flexible tubing, use of packings to perform stimulation and gels in multistage, use of flexible tubing as string of speed for artificial lifting with gas, implementation and use of locators at the end of the tube to correlate with electrical records and cannonade with flexible pipe.

• Work with simulators to find temperature rates that allow the forecast of field performance, well flow simulators to determine well damage and design stimulation works and other simulators such as CoiledCad, Cerberus to do the simulations of the works of cleaning, in jobs cleanout, N2, among others.

• We worked with a multidisciplinary team of deposits, production, drilling and rehabilitation to solve the problems of water production, stimulation at low and high pressure, hydraulic fracturing, completion of wells, sand control, among others.

• Planning and execution of completion programs of vertical and horizontal wells in fields with water flow and gas injection under different production methods (electric submersible pumps, artificial gas lift, by flow acceleration string with flexible pipe, mechanical pumping, with progressive cavity pump). Additionally, the design of completions in wells with hostile conditions, such as: high temperature, presence of sulfuric acid (H2S) and the high production of sand at different depths and in different types of formations in geographic areas of offshore and land in the West of the country.

• Preparation of technical reports on different types of projects and technical presentation of each of them.

• Management of strategies for the preparation of proposals for drilling, rehabilitation and well services, completion of wells, intervention of wells with problems of water presence through control techniques with gels and cement forcing of different granulometry with drill or without it, pumping at low and high pressure, mechanical abandonment of wells with cement and works of hydraulic fracturing and matrix acidification.
