EDUCATION
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
Grainger College of Engineering
Graduated December 2022 GPA: 3.12
EXPERIENCE
Options for College Success, Evanston, IL.- Intern June 2021-August 2021
● Conducted data collection to support outreach efforts and grant applications.
● Organized data and entered data into an organizational system. Family Properties, Chicago, IL. - Facility Manager September 2018 -December 2019
● Established and enforced operating procedures and work standards that ensured adequate performance and personnel safety.
● Used innovative ways to carry out various tasks assigned by the manager to improve efficiency.
PROJECTS
Independent Project- Cooling Vest Spring 2022
● Created design for a commercial
cooling vest.
The product is still in the design
phase and will move to
prototyping by the end of 2022.
● Aims to serve mascots and potentially
the U.S. army.
● Aims to file for a patent when the prototype
is complete.
● Project is done in collaboration with one
other person.
ME 447- Project 3, The Snake and Inchworm
Simulations
Fall 2021
● Created generalized code for a genetic
algorithm in python using numpy.
● Applied this program to two examples:
Snake simulation optimized movement of
the snake taking into account the scales
friction.
Inchworm simulation optimized the amount
of legs needed and shape of movement.
ME 370 – Automated Covid Testing
(Robotic Tub Handling Machine)
Spring 2021
● Designed a mechanism to store the vial
using Creo.
● Designed vial-rack and rack and pinion
mechanism.
● Conducted dynamic force analysis.
ME 270 – Mini Project 8 – Design for
Repurposing and Recycling
Fall 2020
● Designed a spray paint can mixer from an
immersion hand blender using Creo.
● Designed a product that has used
environmentally friendly materials, by
researching the environmental impact of
various materials.
● Conducted design for assembly (DFA)
analysis and 2-factor design of experiment
(DOE).
ME 270 – Mini Project 4 – 3D Printable
Assistive Device
Fall 2020
● Designed a cup sleeve for
essential tremor patients using
Creo.
● The product helps to balance the cup,
through counterbalancing the hand
vibrations.
ME 310- System of Fountains Fall 2020
● Created fountains that held a ball at a
certain height and sprayed water at a
targeted location.
● Used fluid mechanics to determine
diameter and lengths of all pipes.
● Calculated head loss from friction.
● Successfully implemented a working system
for both ball and launcher segments.
