Estimated materials, labor, lead time, and manufacturing viability, and helped to resolve issues as they arise.

Estimated, set up and streamlined a 6 million dollar mobile work station project. I was given an employee recognition award for this accomplishment. (March 2007)

Streamlined the estimation process by combining multiple steps to eliminate repetition errors. I did this by linking multiple data spread sheets to a single data entry point.

Worked with account managers to revise margin levels and labor requirements for targeted customers. The information was used to develop estimating guide lines that would produce better hit/miss ratios for the targeted customers.

Developed remote office procedures to allow estimating to be accomplished from anywhere in the country.

Motorola Semiconductor (Freescale / NXP): Austin TX — 1995-2003

Senior Electrician (Team Lead / Project Mgmt.)

One of 2 electricians that supervised electrical tool and equipment installations during the MOS13 fab ramp-up and “First Silicon” phases of the MOS 13 manufacturing facility in Austin TX. I received an award for this work.

Transferred to the project management group for a 2 building expansion projects that lasted approx. 1.5 years. My primary roll was to conduct status and inspection reports for the project lead, and coordinate electrical system start up activities.

Involved in lean initiatives to reduce installation and material costs.

Provided off hour electrical support for “fab down” situations, and emergencies.

Crouch Electric: Austin TX — 1992-1994

Journeyman/Foreman Electrician

Worked as an electrician during the construction and “ramp-up” of Motorola’s MOS11 fab. Promoted to Foreman supervising electrical crews, tool installations, and building maintenance.

Semiconductor / Solar film fabrication equipment installation and manufacturing experience includes many major manufacturers (Applied Materials, Cannon, ATMI, Solar Metrologies, Veeco, ASML, SVGL, SVG, Verteq, Westech, KLATencor, Gasonics, American Semiconductor etc…).

In addition to the training listed above I have also taken many OSHA safety courses, teamwork and time management courses, CPR, Electrical voltage trouble shooting spikes, grounding, etc… All of which I completed during my time working for Motorola.
