Acted as the Help Desk Supervisor and Information Assurance officer on multiple bases and ships drafting standard operating procedures for various subjects such as day to day customer support, incident response, and periodic maintenance for systems. Assured systems and networks remained operational and confidential in accordance with NIST, DoD, and Navy Guidance. Implemented a comprehensive data migration program which allowed for simultaneous data transfer and mission completion resulting in the reduction of network unavailability time to 72 hours versus the fleet standard of three weeks when transitioning to the Navy’s newest network. Lead a team of 17 sailors to achieve a cyber-score of 98% during a major Type Commanders Inspection and red team assessment setting the new standard for excellence in the United States Navy.
