Responsibilities
Setting up the route I was on that day because I covered five different routes. After I was finished setting up the route, I would then begin to pull down the route and sending the relays out on the truck. I would take out to the street with me my first hour and a half of the route to keep me busy until the relays were available. If I was driving a truck, I would start out by loading the truck with parcels and going out to deliver some in the morning. I would then come back to the office, where I would pickup the relays from the other carriers and take any express mail that was assign to that truck. I would then drop off the relays for the carriers and finish the day by delivering the rest of the parcels I had and then begin a collection of out going mail.
