Honey Head Films, Wilmington – Post-Production Internship January 2022 – May 2022
– Assistant Editor – Created Select and Assembly cuts of commercial and narrative work for the Lead Editor. Organized project folder structures, maintained project files, ingested backup files to shared drives. – Lead Editor – Responsible for a team of editors, hard drives/footage, Google Drive files, and upload. This includes training, scheduling, and point of contact for and between producers and editors.
– Editor - Edited Seahawk Central News and Seahawk Central Sports weekly episodes, base footage, and graphics using Premiere Pro.
UNCW Campus Life, Wilmington — Event Staff
August 2019 – May 2022
– Shift Leader – Responsible for creating a digital package of event diagrams that show room set up requirements and needed equipment and gave direction to staff. Spaces include ballrooms to small meeting rooms.
– Technician – Responsible for ensuring technical equipment
(laptops, projectors, and microphones) are set up and ready for clients and provided technical help throughout the event.
– Event Manager – Responsible for the event facilities management. Campus Life point of contact ensuring client’s needs were met, set up was correct, and safety protocols were followed during the events.
VOLUNTEER & EXPERIENCES
– UCLA Extension — Film and Television Student
Completed two classes with UCLA’s film department during the summer quarter in 2021: The Art and Craft of Film Editing and Post-Production for Film and Television. The courses were remote, giving me the opportunity to participate and work with classmates from different parts of the world and different demographics. I was the only undergraduate student in the courses. I was able to meet and discuss with industry professionals from American Cinema Editors, Riot Games, various trailer houses, and more.
– Pete for America — UNCW Campus Coordinator
During the 2020 Presidential campaign, I volunteered in the fall of 2019, heading a UNCW chapter for Pete Buttigieg’s campaign. I worked closely with others such as the NC chapter, the Cape Fear chapter, and the National Student chapter to coordinate events, literature, and message.
– National Student Leadership Conference — Communications Student Participated in the Communications program at American University in Washington, D.C. for a week during the summer program. While there, the class made two short films. One was approximately 20 minutes long that took 3 days to create from scratch. The other film was 48 seconds long and was made in 2 hours. I helped write the script, film scenes, design the sound, and edit the films.
