Perform audits and provide compliance assessments for chemical facilities. Completed a 12 week chemical security academy, graduating as a Chemical Security Inspector. Serve as lead inspector as well as a member of teams completing inspections and compliance assessment visits to assist the chemical facilities in attaining and maintaining compliance with federal CFAT (Chemical Facilities Anti-Terrorist) regulations. Hazardous Material Transportation Specialist Kingwood, TX Developed a more efficient AutoCAD web based database. Developed a web-based AutoCAD drawings database that could be accessed by all personnel with need for access to executable drawings. Established two search criteria: one by drawing number and one by drawing name, enabling personnel to print out drawings without disturbing the original. Results: Facility remained in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) process safety management regulation.

Directed hazardous material transportation efforts. Worked with Chevron Phillips hazardous material transportation department in the shipment of 20 metric tons of spent catalyst chemicals to a catalyst chemical facility in France. Insured compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) regulations. Reviewed documentation and monitored packaging, labeling, and sealing of hazardous chemicals. Result: Shipments were made to point of embarkation, clearing European customs and arriving on time at destination points. Key contributor in OSHA VPP (Voluntary Protection Program) audits at NASA facilities. Chosen as member of OSHA VPP team in three disciplines: industrial hygiene, process safety management, and safety specialist. Performed audits at United Space Alliance, the main NASA contractor at Johnson and Kennedy Space Centers. Audited the facilities to ensure the security of gases, proper handling of chemicals, proper training of personnel and sufficient personal protective equipment.
