It’s not a single project it’s a consolidated data practice. It’s been more than 15 years working for StubHub, former eBay sister company. Performed different roles, worked on various tools and technologies, allowed me to witness the technology resolutions like traditional Data Warehouse to Big Data, Google Cloud migration and then Azure and Snowflake migration. During this long tenure involved in numerous projects development and operations, aka end to end SDLC of all the projects.

Roles and Responsibilities…

Collecting Business user requirements, converting them into technical/design documents. Preparing the project plans, sizing the development work into sprints and creating the required tasks. Involved in pre-requisite project works like working with source systems to review the data / files to design file formats and staging tables and developed. Worked with network and internal systems teams to opening required ports, created required tickets and follow up with them to getting it done. Created pipelines in Azure Data Factory & Snow pipes to bring SQL Server, traffic & GCP data into Snowflake. Developed and scheduled shell scripts to download the files in DTJ server and pushing them to DBS server. Designed and developed tables and ETLs to process the source data/files to target. Deployed ETLs to git and released them into production. Scheduled the loads cronjobs / Jenkins and Provided the Operational support, monitored the jobs and made sure jobs running fine in production.

Important Projects…

1.Azure and Snowflake Migration: Designed and developed new Data Warehouse and Data Lakes in Azure and Snowflake to replicate the existing GCP DW project and created a python-based data reconciliation process in an Azure VM to make sure Snowflake data is accurate.

2.GCP Migration: Migrated all the on-prime Oracle database to GCP, includes all the data migration, ETL processes migration, BI tools integration and end user training.

3.Tealium Implementation: Replaced Adobe’s Omniture with Tealium to bring the StubHub Realtime traffic streaming data into GCP.

4.Tableau Implementation: Installed and implemented Tableau Tool to have better visualization tool and Instant dashboard experience for end users. Developed various dashboards to project different data elements like RFM (Recency, Frequency and Monitory) Dashboard.

5.Accountex / FinDB: Developed projects to convert the daily transactional events into ledger buckets and submit them into eBay SAP system via Great Plains / Baas.

6.New Marketing Attribution: Implemented new marketing attribution rules in Snowflake.

7.StubHub to ViaGoGo: Implemented an ETL process to migrate the StubHub data to ViaGoGo Databases.

8.Ithaca: Designed and developed a project to separate the StubHub International Business Data to get clean chit from UK Competition and Markets Authority to dispose the StubHub International business.

9.Marketing Attribution: Implemented attribution model rules to determines how much credit for a success event is assigned to different touch points in the customers journey and attributed to right Affiliates, SEO and Paid Search entities.

10.GDPR and CCPA: Implementation of General Data Protection Regulation and California Consumer Privacy Act.

11.CMTA: Charge My Team Account, a process to apply customers transactions data to team accounts.

12.Informatica Migration: Migrated all existing OWB to Informatica and upgraded multiple versions.

13.DRT Process: Created a Tool to validate the finance data across different systems / tools, eCom -> DW -> Accountex -> Baas/GP.

14.Fact Traffic: Created a process to load the Adobe Omniture traffic data into Hadoop System and then implemented the same in GCP.

15.Fast Facts: Created a daily sales metrics reporting process to share the daily sales details and financial health summary with entire company.

16.Salesforce Data loads: Worked with Marketing Team and Salesforce team to bring various Marketing data feeds to DW. Designed and developed multiple Facts and Dimensions.

17.Business Objects Implementation: Installed and upgraded various Business Objects Tool versions, created BO metadata Universes so that cross functional teams can build their own ad-hoc reports and developed numerous reports for business users.

18.OWB Implementation: Developed various ETL jobs in Oracle Warehouse Builder to build the Initial DW system.

19.Data Support: Provided required data to Stubhub legal team in resolving various court litigations and supported on all data requests to Marketing, Finance, Partnership, Engineering, Analytics Teams and Higher Management.
