Production Technician

I worked in the press position. It was repetitive work. Standing in the same spot putting my thumbs down on a button, and repeat. 12 hour shifts. One day off, that day was on Sunday. I left the job so I could find a job that I can still work hard But at the same time have a few days to myself.

I assembled Fault Line Recorders for 10 hour shifts with the weekends off.However I got fired for something serious but also silly. My trainer was teaching me wrong “at the time I didn’t know that.” And he quit a week later. He told me to wear gloves when operating a sander. Turns out you aren’t supposed to. The glove got sucked in and almost cut my hand. They didn’t want to fire me but since my two weeks were already in they allowed me to work and extra day and sent me on my way.

I worked on machines that welded multiple different pieces together on 3rd shift 11pm to 7am. I left due to low staffing cause of covid. There was about 10 ppl in the factory trying to get everything done. They increased hours and days to the week.

I worked in the environmental services department in Shelbyville Indiana for Major Hospital. I had to dispose to biohazard materials as well as basic cleaning. I liked the job & honestly might still be there to this day but I moved back to Anderson Indiana & the drive made it no longer worth it.

I got this job just because I needed money. At the moment I’m a (master inspector) we make plastic interior/exterior parts for cars & I have to make sure I don’t see scratches/bad paint jobs & any other abnormalities.

●I went over to Guatemala on a Mission Trip to help Construct houses, daycares, and helped with the needy. It was an amazing experience and plan on going back.
