Replenishing Non-ICU and ICU code trays while working in the Inpatient Pharmacy. Delivering the code trays in response to Code Blue, when needed.

Preparing oral syringes and Iohexol to be delivered and administered to the various patients in the clinical center.

Delivering IV medications that are hazardous and non-hazardous; ensuring proper safety precaution throughout the transportation of IV medications to the nurses as well as to the Omnicells on the various units in the clinical center.

Delivering Controlled Substances and verifying all required signatures on the Controlled Substance Form; Logging Controlled Substance forms in the computer after delivery.

Removing expired medications from the Omnicell unit by logging in the expired date into the Omnicell. Responsible for cycle counting the medications in various Omnicell units to ensure the right quantity of the individual medications are accurate.

Answering various phone calls from Nurses, Doctors, and other Clinical Staff members regarding status of patient meds, clinical questions, as well as verifying stock levels of medications on the unit. Will ensure the needs of delivery for STAT vs. routine delivery.

Delivering cart filled medications to the numerous units in the clinical center for respective patient bins. Also filling floor stock meds that are running low in the Omnicell machine and are replenished every day.
