Kirkwood Community College

Designed and Developed semester long project for students of Human Anatomy and Physiology II. Students were grouped in teams of four and assigned two systems of the human body. They needed to pick one homeostatic imbalance each, present a brief outline of the imbalance, and Link it to all other systems of the body to show how a patient may present with seemingly unrelated symptoms. Each person does their own presentation, with the group being there for ideas and support. If they choose to work as a team, they may as long as they present one imbalance per person. Purpose was to show that no imbalance occurs in isolation, and to help students view the big picture.
