Responsibilities
Knox County Schools – Paraprofessional Teaching Assistant
oAs a Paraprofessional Teaching Assistant, my responsibilities included teaching Life Skills and Social Emotional classes to Special Educational students. Responsibilities also included preparing the classroom and organizing all instructional materials and technology equipment. My responsibilities required me to administer diagnostic tools and assistive learning devices, for students to be a success in the classroom. I maintained student’s educational and behavioral records, pertaining their IEP’s (Individual Education Plan), along with Behavior and Safety Plans. Keeping all school data and student’s records confidential was of the utmost importance, in order for me to successfully carry out my duties. I supervised students during emergency drills, assemblies and field trips. As an authoritative leader, I lead students with clear and precise directions and expectations when supervising and proctoring test, during (end of course) EOC State Testing. I worked with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning curriculum and skill strengthening. I upheld and abided by all safety rules and procedures associated with the laws of Knox County Schools.
Knox County Mayor’s Office – Constituent Service Representative
oI was responsible for maintaining various departments computer tracking systems, to ensure the resolve of the constituent’s request, in a timely matter. I researched information, in the computer system’s databases to assist, with constituent inquiries regarding government functions of operation. I maintained computer data entries, by reviewing, screening, categorizing, coding and monitoring all internal and external departmental issues. I compiled information for updating Knox County Mayor’s Office internet website.
Comcast – Accounting Clerk
oI prepared daily, weekly and monthly reports for local, regional and corporate forecasting. My responsibilities also included processing and auditing technical work orders to ensure accuracy of revenue generation, through products and services. In order to ensure optimum operational results, I prepared reports of order discrepancies for department heads review. The greatest degree of my data entry skills was through my ability to audit work orders, for completeness and accuracy keyed by representatives, in the customer service department. I would keep track of cancellations, through the company’s database and communicate with the general manager and management team to ensure the attainment of new subscribers. My work detailed updating the database, with verified subscriber information. I oversaw the continual development, improvement and modifications of procedures, for functionality in the Data Processing/Accounting Department.
