As a Detention Officer I would oversee all detainees in my dorm. I would do dorm checks every 30min. There is a lot of interaction with the detainees. It was a open dorm. All Male and Female detainees would wonder free. I always had my guard up. There was a lot of Code 4 Emergencies. There were fights that needed quick action. I also escorted Detainees to court, library, medical appointments. Also secured facility. I would do perimeter checks and fill out all appropriate paper work. I worked a lot of hours. 16hour days 3 to 4 in a row. A lot of hospital runs that lasted a very long time. Always short on Officers so you never Knew when and if you had relief coming.

As a manager commissary delivery Driver I oversee 8 employees. I am responsible for all issues concerning commissary from detainees being over charged to any additional information or special menu item request. I am also responsible for all record keeping and signed rosters for all the detainees. I frequently work with employees from the front desk to commanders, lieutenant, and the warden.

When it comes to food handling and the importance of making sure all detainees receive what they ordered is a major part of my job. It keeps everybody happy and it ensures there are no angry outbreaks. I have dealt with detainees and inmates from different facilities. I know all the procedures for having escorts and I am well aware of all potential hazards that this line of work contains. I know I would be a very good assets for your facility, not only from the experience I have gained by for the simple fact that I am a dependable worker who always does my best to succeed.

I am a self-starter and a very hard worker. I pride myself in doing my best and getting any task done to my full potential. I am always ready to go above and beyond when it comes to my duties.
