Lukoil, Iraq

Lukoil is running the WQ-2 oilfield in Iraq to reach 1.200.000 BPD in 2019 by constructing 3 CPF's, PGGT, Pipeline, Well pads, and water injection facilities. At the same time, BONATTI is running the site for O&M moreover is performing a project to train and maintain all the staff, and crew with complete international standards and policies for technical and HSE regulations (May 2018-Feb 2019 with Antonoil).

I directly supervise the On Job Training team in WQ2. Responsibilities include assisting OJT team members, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. Also carried out supervisory responsibilities following the LUKOIL policies and applicable laws.

Hitachi Global Project Management unite as part of JV to design, construct, and start the Basra Water Project.

As QC Electrical Engineer, I managed the QC team of 6 inspectors to handle the complete responsibility for ensuring the quality and schedule performance of the E&I tasks at BWSIP. Including (GIS 132 KV, Substation (132/33/11/6.6/0.4 KV), 30M Generators, RO & UF Electrical / Process Buildings).

I made the supervision of all electrical activities on the site of Local Power Distribution 132/33 KV.

I supervised all electrical activities in the Desil generation station, five units of 9 MW each.

I made the supervision for all electrical activities in the local distribution switchyard of 33/11 kv and 33/6.6 kv station.

Degroment, Suze.

Degroment / France, one of the global leaders in the water treatment sector, has been awarded an EP contract for a Million cubic of treated water / a day project in Baghdad. Twelve treatment units and 11 electrical substations were controlled and monitored by a very accurate Automation (SCADA, RTU, MB+, C&I) system to fill the high performance and safety requirements during the production phases.

I reviewed and generated the electrical and automation drawings for the substation and automation units.

I performed and supervised all the inspection, FAT, SAT, loop checks, start-up and commissioning of the electrical and control equipment in the field.

I attended all the site meetings with the construction teams and project parties from France, China, and Dubai.

I supervised and corrected all the civil works related to the electrical and control systems installations, especially the installation bases for the control panels, soft starters panels, switchgear planes, transformers, motors bases, etc.

I reviewed the P&ID drawings and supervised and inspected the piping and mechanical activities related to the cable trays, HVAC, and field instrumentation installation.

I confirmed all stations are as per the engineering drawings and method of statement for electrical motors, transformers, emergency generators, control panels, electrical equipment in process units such as the Ozon unit, chlorination unit, scrubbers, cathodic protection systems, and cables (power, control, and communication).

Emerson Process Management, UAE & Iraq

Emerson had a service plan to deliver a high level of engineering and technical support and site service for their clients in Iraq. I was part of the Iraqi service team to Design, Sized, Install, commission, and support Emerson products (Micro Motion and Rosemount) on the site and developed relations with key clients in many OG&C plants.

Responsible for managing all technical-related instrument and control systems through design and field installation for metering equipment and measuring applications in Iraq.

Perform inspections and site visits to confirm QC requirements for related safety plans and LOAP calculations.

Collected the data and arranged/attended technical meetings with related personnel to perform more accurate sizing/design for instrumentation and metering applications.

I spearheaded technical support and site management for oil and gas metering skids (EC&I) (Micro Motion & Rosemount).

Responsible for installation, commissioning, test performance, and analysis of flow units and analysers over many oil fields and refineries in the south of Iraq and around countries.

Bechtel, Kazakhstan

SGP is one of the mega projects that belong to Chevron. Sure gas was separated and re-injected to the oil field to improve the daily production rate designed and constructed with high technology and safety regulations, especially in the harsh environment. My duty was to handle the day-to-day basis of site Electrical activities and arrangements.

I am responsible for managing and guiding around 45 Electrical crew to deliver the test and commissioning duties in the SGP.

I support to plan/Engaging the installation of Electrical Systems in The Site Substations, GT - Substation - MCC - PSB - Heat Tracing – Instrumentation.

I supported permit holder status and confirmed all the permit’s integrity and validity.

I inspected all installations in progress and completed the final check of electrical & instrumentation systems according to designs and standards to ensure the quality level and confirm the competition to the client turnover.

I flow up the Read Line site activities and fill up QVDs concerning electrical systems in various areas of Sulphur, Crude, and Gas facilities.

I support maintaining the soft completion works in SGP and arrange the ongoing duties with other disciplines on site.

I support and handle all the core commissioning duties under TCO/ Parson staff during the start-up.

I conducted many training and education courses to support the technical skills of the site crew.

TDS, Kurdistan

Washington Group delivered one of Iraq's most significant power distribution projects, designing, constructing, testing, and commissioning more than 53 substations with various levels Alstom 132 KV, ABB 33/11 KV. Technical and Diagnostics Services was responsible for testing and trusting parts through three teams over Iraq. I was part of the North Regin Team to perform the test and commissioning duties for the distribution equipment as per approved designs and standards.
