Career, Teaching and Mentoring Experience

Current: speech therapist and researcher

I have been working as a speech therapist in Mashhad University of medical sciences, Ibn Sina Psychiatric Hospital from 2007 to 2022. My main responsibilities are screening, evaluating and treating speech and language deficits in both adolescent and children. Besides that, I

Established group therapy with the help of my colleagues, for adults who stutter (AWS) in the hospital for the first time

Performed neurotherapy (neurofeedback) for developmentally-impaired clients (like Asperger and ADHD syndromes) for two years.

Have interpreted QEEG of referred patients for a recent year in the cognitive rehabilitation ward of the hospital.

Previous job: speech therapist

I worked as a speech therapist in exceptional primary schools from 2001 to 2007 which was a great experience working with children as a member of a team. My main responsibilities were evaluating and treating speech and language problems in hearing impaired, attention defected and mentally retarded clients. Teaching experience

My responsibility was translating the questionnaires and handing them out. it has been published as a book named; stuttering meets stereotype, stigma and discrimination, Kenneth, O, ST, Louis. wvu press,2015(my name is in chapter 9).
