Responsible for the design and implementation of data networks, wireless networks, telephony solutions, access control, close circuit TV, OH paging, Infant Security, Patient Monitoring and Telemetry systems for UHS construction projects for both new and existing acute care and behavioral health facilities. Managed multiple vendors for the successful installation of these services, Avaya, D Cubed, Insight, CDW, GE, Phillips, APC, Comcast, COX, Sprint, Kronos, Valcom, ADT are just a few. Project managed telephony solutions in conjunction with the vendor and the client. Addressed client wishes and issues throughout the installation or migration of telephony services. Regional Network Services Lead (Tenet Healthcare Account) Technical lead for a team of network engineers that were responsible for the daily operations of the regional network, management of CISCO and Bay Network infrastructure equipment, and the management of Novell, Unix and Windows NT server farms running on DELL and IBM servers. Responsible for purchasing, configuring and deploying Novell 5.5, Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers. Maintained and administered Microsoft Exchange 2000 email system that included the management of Microsoft Exchange user accounts, Exchange server farm and security. Responsible for assigning user security for both Netware NDS and Microsoft Domain accounts. Responsible for maintaining service packs for Netware 4.x, 5.x and NT file servers. Involved in project planning of application and network infrastructure implementations. Responsible for proposing implementations that would enhance the performance of the regional network. Frequently communicated with local vendors, COMCAST and Verizon, that provided the WAN connections to the regional facilities. Technical lead for a team of three technicians at two regional hospitals, Warminster Hospital, Elkins Park Hospital. Responsibilities included the installation, maintenance and support of 600 Novell client workstations Warminster, PA 18974•484-***-****•adtyc5@r.postjobfree.com running Windows 95, NT and 2000 desktop operating systems. Response to helpdesk tickets submitted by end users was a major priority. Installed and configured Novell 4.11, 5.x and Windows NT servers in an Enterprise Network. Facility specific and corporate wide applications were also deployed to end user desktops through Zenworks 3.2. These applications were deployed to Windows 95, NT and 2000 workstations. Created Zenworks application objects to distribute applications to 2500 users within the region, as well as individual departments under Zenworks 3.x. System and user policies were created through NDS to control the Windows desktop environment, such as the Windows background, Start Menus, Control panel and Internet access. All Zenworks objects and policies were created and managed through the Console1 and NWAdmin32. NDS Inventory Manager Utility was used to track workstation inventory throughout the region. All NDPS printers were managed through Novell’s NWAdmin32 utility. Installed and configured Windows NT IIS server for vendor web based applications, responsible for maintaining IIS security on these servers. Utilization of IP networking tools, telnet, SSH, nslookup, ipconfig, tracert for hardware and network configuration and troubleshooting. 1996-1999 Alliance Consulting Group Philadelphia, PA Certified NetWare Engineer (Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Account) Responsible for installation, maintenance and support of client workstations on WAN. Responsibilities included the support of the TCP/IP, IPX/SPX and AppleTalk protocols on the WAN. Responsibilities included workstation connectivity to WAN and the INTERNET services utilizing TCP/IP and IPX/SPX protocols. Other responsibilities included the support of TOKEN RING, Ethernet and EtherTalk platforms, and connectivity to Synoptics, Link Switch 1000 and 3000 hubs and IBM MAUs.
