I'm interested in the Development officer position, attached please find my resume. I have been in Chicago for 7 years and my work experiences are in several temp jobs below my skill set. I really want to get one where I can be more helpful to human beings.
In Mexico, before I left, I worked for 30 years in the hotel business. For 17 of those years, I was Director of Sales for one of the Largest Hotels in Acapulco, Playa Suites. I even had my own cable TV show where I interviewed celebrities and highlighted the wonders of Acapulco and the beautiful bay on the ocean. I long to put to use my expertise working with people -- my organizational, and leadership skills
At present I’m doing Translations for Mr. Sam Sanchez, Chairman of the Board of the Illinois Restaurant Association (IRA) and President of Third Coast Hospitality Group. During the pandemic for several months, I was translating letters and several documents also helping Mr. Sanchez with the page RECURSOS PARA TODOS in Spanish (translations from English) for the Latin community. On November 11, 2021, I started with KEY FOOD SERVICES as sales representative for several months then as assistant to the sales manager helping the sales team with marketing and making reports for internal and for client presentation. In January, because of my language skill, I was transferred to Accounts Receivable.
