MEDICAL ONLY ADJUSTER-YORK RISK SERVICES

Managing a high volume of Injured workers who have filed a worker’s comp claim. In managing the claim, I begin with a first report of injury and I contact the Injured worker, the employer, and the provider who is overseeing the medical treatment. I then determine compensability. Once the claim is approved I then monitor the process of the treatment and manage the claim until the provider releases the injured worker back to work. I approve all bills to the providers, I enter reserves into the claim file for payments to process. I determine if a Peer review is necessary by reviewing the MRI’s as they come in. I am also responsible for the subrogation end of the file and attempt to collect on accidents that are caused by non-employees. I have a very big case load so must be able to multi task and work at a constant level.
