2 Project Reports on Traffic Management Systems Projects ($5M)
As a California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Value Engineering Coordinator, with the assistance of the Value Engineering teams completed 60 reports according to SAVE International Value Engineering process increasing project Performance reducing the cost (10 large projects per year, 4/04 to 11/13).
Led Safety Review Committee with Caltrans completing safety review for highway projects, and personally completed all roadway safety design reviews (450 projects over a 9 -year period 4/04-11/13).
As a Project Manager for Caltrans led project teams delivering $250 M. dollars in construction capital during a four-year period. (07/98 – 04/04).
As an Assistant Civil Engineer with the City of Stockton Engineering Department, reviewed and approved 40 sets of PS&E packages, Development Agreements, & etc. (4 years, 07/94-07/98). PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:
Yuba City Engineering Department: supervised engineering staff preparing PS&E packages and engineering reports for municipal engineering projects; (3 years, 07/91-07/94).
City of Los Angeles Construction Engineering Department: assisted in construction administration of multimillion dollars projects for wastewater treatment facilities, read and interpreted contract documents, negotiated change orders, prepared progress payments.
As a Junior Civil Engineer with Rollins, Brown, & Gunnels, prepared PS&E for highway projects and water supply projects; inspected dams and hydraulic structures. EDUCATION:
Master of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University
