A Room Lead’s primary duty is to oversee production activities in a specific room(s) and perform a variety of operational tasks in accordance with current GMP's. Responsibilities include: work with scheduling, assign personnel to daily work, communicate pertinent and timely information, ensure quality, safety, and output are met, work with Value Stream Supervisor to maintain efficiency and implement continuous improvement processes, follow accurately all GMP documents (Batch records, SOPs, protocols, etc), operate in a clean room environment within required gowning, aseptic behaviors, and proper flow procedures, must work effectively in a team environment to achieve company goals. Relay a shift meeting also called Tier 1, to report a multitude of pertinent information regarding the status of the room. This meeting involves both shift managers; the meeting goes over concerns in Saftey, Delivery, Quality,People/OEE, and Costs. Attendance at this meeting must be recorded and that task is up to the outgoing metric owner “Lead”. In attendance Tech Services, Quality Dept, Incoming Lead, Incoming Supervisor, Incoming shift Management, MMC, all must be in attendance. Any other operations member that wants to listen may also attend. Hourly rates must be recorded online to Digital Factory for full clarity on our inspection rates within my room(s).
