I was hired at B & R Retreading as the second shift supervisor. Daily responsibilities included managing 26 employees on normal day to day duties, keeping track of time and attendance and ensuring that production was reached on our shift. Other responsibilities included managing shipments coming in and out of the plant, daily inventory, and keeping accurate records.

I have been employed with Smuckers for twelve years. My first two years, I worked on the floor running various machines. In 2008, I was then selected for an offline reliability role in which I was responsible for maintaining equipment, identifying defects and keeping lines running on my shift. In November 2014, I was selected for a three year role as a Mechanical Coordinator where I was responsible for training the oncoming reliability technicians, PM Accountability, keeping maintenance records on machines, keeping inventory and ordering spare parts. I have been on CQV teams for new machines coming into the plant and have been on several FAT’s as well. I have also designed and implemented many improvements on equipment.
