My name is Ashley Mathis. I am 29 years old and have a 5 yr old daughter who is my whole life. I am a very hard worker, very dependable and trustworthy. I am a very nice person and can get along with anyone. I just finished my clinicals in August for my phlebotomy class and am waiting for the paper work to sit for the test. I have pretty much always been in the medical field. Years ago I use to work as a CNA at Forsyth hospital on the cardiac floor for about 2 yrs until I switched my field of study to Emergency medicine. I worked for Davidson EMS for the last 3 yrs until I unfortunately had a devastating call with a couple of pediatric patients that eventually made me make the decision to get out of EMS all together and change to phlebotomy. I choose phlebotomy because when I was in the paramedic program and took the pharmacology class I loved doing IV's and taking blood and it just always stuck with me and I really enjoyed it. I am really hoping that you choose me for this position. Thank you
