I am the care provider for a resident that requires daily assistance and supervision. I assist with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. I transport the resident to appointments as needed, organize daily activities, assist with shopping for food and essentials, and administer proscribed medication. I also assist in cleaning the home of the resident.

As a resident assistant, I was responsible for helping residents bathe, get dressed, eat, and move about the facility. I provided a safe mental and emotional environment to aid in the resident’s ability to be calm. I also assisted with resident’s night-time routine and responded to e-calls when alerted. As a care provider at Better Horizon, I was assigned 4 individuals for the day program. I facilitated games for them to play, organized outings such as neighborhood walks, aided with restroom needs and assisted with eating food as needed.

As a care provider and McKinley Care Home, I assisted residents with bathing, getting dressed, and eating as necessary. I provided transportation to and from appointments, prepared food for resident consumption as well as completed light cleaning of the facility. I also facilitated daily activities for the residents to enjoy.
