This POC was to create few highly interactive and complex reports in Cognos Query Studio, which enables the users to generate their reports in much shorter time and without the TPAIR helpdesk assistance. Singlehandedly managed to convert a simple thought to a revenue generating, high impactful project that led to great customer satisfaction. Responsible for the end-to-end phases of the project - analysis of existing system, requirement gathering, finalising the best solution approach, designing, data modelling, developing, testing and UAT.

The AISMART application is a Surety application used by underwriters to book surety bonds. The system has a reports module used by the underwriters to generate and view reports. Crystal Reports Server is used at the backend to generate reports. In line with the customers corporate initiative, it was decided to migrate from the Crystal reports technology to Cognos reporting. The project involved analysing the existing reporting module and rewriting the entire functionality on the Cognos platform. Had to work closely with client in each phase of the project, from analysing and understanding the existing report module to the final production support.
